2.Loading System: Aggregates, cement, and other materials are loaded into the mixing drum through a loading system. In smaller mixers, materials may be added manually, while larger machines often have automated systems such as conveyor belts or skip hoists to transport the materials into the drum.
3.Water and Additive Addition: Water is a crucial component in the concrete mixture, and it is added to the machine in controlled amounts. Additionally, various additives such as plasticizers, accelerators, or coloring agents may be introduced to modify the properties of the concrete. These additives are typically pre-measured and added to the mixture during the mixing process.
4.Mixing Process: Once the materials are loaded into the drum and the necessary water and additives are added, the mixing process begins. The drum rotates, or the internal blades move, causing the materials to tumble and mix together. The mixing continues until a uniform and consistent concrete mixture is obtained.
5.Discharge System: After the mixing process is complete, the concrete is discharged from the machine. In smaller mixers, this is typically done by tilting the drum, allowing the concrete to pour out. In larger machines, a discharge chute or conveyor belt may be used to transfer the concrete to a designated location, such as a concrete transport truck or a concrete pump for further placement.
6.Wet concrete machines come in various sizes and configurations to suit different project requirements. They can range from small portable mixers used for DIY projects to large-scale batching plants used in commercial construction. The choice of machine depends on factors such as the desired production capacity, the mobility required, and the specific needs of the project.
